A man is dead following an electrocution that also sent his teenage son to the hospital in Brevard County, officials said.The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 500 block of Harland Avenue in Melbourne Beach around 11:40 a.m.Officials say the man, an employee for a tree service, accidentally contacted an electric line while trimming trees behind a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.According to authorities, the man’s teenage son was also injured while trying to help his father who was in a bucket of a lift when he was electrocuted. The teen was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition. Service in the area has been interrupted to prevent injury to the public and those investigating the incident.
