Victor Radley alleged ‘altercation’, NRL investigation

The Roosters may be without Victor Radley to start the season as the NRL reportedly prepares to determine whether he faces punishment for an alleged off-season incident.

Rugby league reporter Danny Weidler reported the league has been investigating an alleged “altercation” involving the tri-colours back-rower at a party in December.

“The NRL have been looking at this altercation now for quite some time and I believe they’re very close to coming to a conclusion on the Victor Radley matter,” Weidler said.

“Victor Radley is likely to have a suspension and possibly a fine as well from the NRL relating to this altercation.”

Radley missed most of last year with a serious knee injury after rupturing his ACL during a game against the Dragons.

The 22-year-old went down without any contact as he looked to make a tackle, and spent the rest of the season on the sidelines.
