Search for Tattslotto winner of $1.4 million
One lucky Darwin resident or visitor is $1.4 million richer but they don’t know it yet.
They were one of seven people who shared in the division one prize in the weekend’s Tattslotto draw.
The ticket was purchased at Bardens Pharmacy on Cavenagh St in Darwin.
Ashleigh Hutson, Bardens Pharmacy manager, said she was thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry.
“We’ve done it again. Bardens is the Northern Territory’s first win of 2021,” she said.
“There is a lot of hype in-store today with our staff spreading the cheer with all of our customers. Our customers will be delighted to hear we’ve sold a division one winning entry.
The pharmacy seems to be a lucky charm, having sold three division one winning entries over the past six years.
“We hope the winner checks their ticket soon so we can celebrate with them,” Ms Hutson added.
The winning numbers in the draw were 9, 22, 34, 20, 7, and 45, while the supplementary numbers were 12 and 10.
Bronwyn Spencer, spokeswoman at The Lott, said she was eager to unite the Top End’s latest division one winner with their prize.
“It’s likely this winner has been going about their weekend as normal with no idea they’ve just won $1.4 million,” she said.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Bardens Pharmacy to check their tickets today.
“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won $1.4 million in the first month of the year. Your plans for 2021 would certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account.”
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in the draw – two from New South Wales and one each from Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
In 2020, TattsLotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 312 division one winning in TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $355 million.
