Louisville woman used dating app to carjack man at gunpoint, police say

A Louisville woman is accused of using a dating app to lure a person out of town to steal their car, and police say she had help.According to an arrest report, McKenzie Ezell, 20, of Louisville, met the victim on a dating app in Cincinnati. The victim said that on Saturday, he drove Ezell back to Louisville and once they got into an alley on South 40th Street, Ezell pulled out a gun and demanded the victim give up his vehicle.Police said two other armed male suspects then got into the vehicle and they all drove away with the victim still inside. They dumped the victim at Duncan and North Shawnee Terrace, according to police.A few hours later, around 8:50 p.m., police said they found the vehicle and Ezell. She then admitted to her role in the robbery. Police identified one of the other suspects as Anthony Gibbs, 19, of Louisville, who also gave a statement where he said he was the one who drove the vehicle from the scene.Both are charged with robbery.It’s unclear if the third suspect has been found or charged.
